Grace's 9 Month Appointment

Last week (on 12/6), we took Grace in for her 9 month appointment. The doctor said that everything looked great - and she is right on track doing everything she's supposed to.

She did have to get a foot prick and 2 shots. She DID NOT appreciate getting the shots and screamed her head off for a minute. Poor baby!!!

Her stats from the appointment:

• Weight - 21 lbs. 5 oz. (86%)
• Height - 28 in. (65%)
• Head - 17 1/2 in. (63%)

Grace at 9 months:

• Has 6 teeth (4 on top - the front ones and 2 middle ones on the bottom)
• Likes to sleep on her tummy (now that she rolls over all the time)
• Takes baths in the big bath tub
• Doesn't mind sitting by herself on the floor and playing for a long time
• Says "da-da", "maa" & "uh-oh" - she doesn't know what any of those mean :)
• Eating stage 2 foods - but we are about to switch her to stage 3 
• She has a little stranger anxiety (it just started)
• She can grasp the smallest things with her fingers
