School & Workshops

On Jan 25th, the four of us went to tour the Catholic School we want to register Tommy for. We told the kids that they had to dress up a little - Grace assumed that meant her tiara. She wore it the whole time too. :)

Grace loves taking pictures of her brother

On Saturday (Feb 7th), I took the kids to the Home Depot Workshop that morning. As we sat down to start our work, I saw Eddie and Evelyn. Eddie was nice enough to help the kids build their planters.

After Home Depot, I took the kids to see Spongebob at the movies and then took Tommy to get a haircut.

So handsome!

Fondue Date Night

In late January (the 23rd), Tom and I met Christine and Eddie for a little fondue and wine at Greendance Winery.

It was a lot of fun (and a lot of food).

Our table (which had 2 fonque pots)

I wonder why the wine glasses are empty? :)

We did have to leave a little earlier than we planned, because it started snowing really hard (and the roads were a little dicey).

The whole evening was really nice and we enjoyed hanging out with Christine and Eddie.

Losing a Tooth

Over Christmas, Tommy was complaining about his mouth hurting and how it was hurting him to eat - not to mention that his face was really swollen on the side that he just had his first cavity filled.

When Tom took him back to the regular dentist the first time, they just said it was an infection and gave him antibiotics. That took care of the problem - for a little while....

The week of January 19th, Tommy started complaining about his mouth hurting when I would give him a kiss on that side. Tom and I were a little worried, so I called on the 22nd of January to a pediatric dentist that was recommended to us and they fit us in that day. They confirmed that the other dentist didn't get all the cavity out before they filled it. Poor baby!!

They gave Tom 2 options - either give him medicine to make the infection go away (and it would just keep coming back) or pulling the tooth. Tom went with option 2 and they pulled the tooth right then.

Tommy was a big boy through the whole process and ht was very excited about the tooth fairy coming to visit him.

Playing in the waiting room (Tom said he was a little nervous)

It was on the top (closer to the back)

Tommy got a generous tooth fairy - they left him $5 - which he used to buy some Pokemon cards at Target that weekend.

Sledding in 2015

The 2nd weekend in January was our first day to sled ride this winter. We all love when there is snow on the weekend :)

Grace was the first one to get her gear on - a huge change from last year when she didn't want to participate in all the fun!

The kids digging

Grace LOVED it!

Everyone came over to hang out
