Spring Fling & A Party

Last Saturday, we took the kids to a park in Frisco for their schools' annual Spring Fling.

Tommy & Grace had a lot more fun this year than last year. Tommy went on all the bounce houses, the fun bus and bubbles. Grace even played a little "football" and crawled through a tunnel.

Someone was a little tired when we got there.

Having fun on the slide.

Much better (and cooler)

Another cool dude!

Sunday, I took Tommy to a birthday party for 2 of his friends at WOGA (a gymnastics place) in Frisco. Tommy pretty much chased his friends, jumped on a trampoline and swung on the bars.

One other funny thing that happened - on our way out - Grace's (Tommy's classmate) older sister made it a point to say bye to Tommy on the way out and he flashed her a smile and said "Bye Madison (or whatever her name is). How does he know all these girls? He must be a huge ladies man at school!

Easter 2012

We headed to my parent's house for Easter this year.

On Saturday, Tom went and played golf and the rest of us went for an Easter egg hunt downtown. Tommy got a lot of eggs and Grace even got a couple.

Once the hunt was over, we signed up for door prizes and had an early lunch (they had hot dogs and cookies/cupcakes). Grace was so funny! We gave her a hard cookie to chew on and by the time we left she had finished the whole thing. I didn't know she even knew how to take bites off of it. That little stinker. :)

On Easter morning the kids loved what the Easter Bunny left them. Tommy got Toy Story stuff and Grace got books and other girlie things. Tom and I went to church and then we enjoyed Easter Lunch with my family.

After cleaning up, we took the kids outside for another Easter egg hunt (before it started raining again). I think Tommy enjoyed this the most since some of the eggs were hidden instead of just thrown on the ground like the other hunts he did.

Happy Easter!

On a side note (I wanted to write this down so I didn't forget). After the egg hunt at Tommy's school last Thursday, I gave him an egg that I thought just had jelly beans in it. Well, I was talking to my mom on speaker phone and she asked Tommy what he was doing and he said "Chewing gum Gramma". I turned around and sure enough he had a piece of gum in his mouth just chewing away! I was so surprised. I didn't even know he knew what to do with gum. He is such a smart little cookie. He knew not to swallow it! He never ceases to amaze me. :)
