The Rest of the Trip (Texas #3)

Sunday, we headed back to Dallas to attend the Green Bay vs. Cowboys game. Tommy kept complaining about the noise, so we went to sit inside to eat our popcorn (that the lady sitting in front of us bought Tommy) and watch the game on TV.

Gracie baby came up to join us

Monday night, we met our old neighbors, Tim & Tina, Chelsea and her fiance Brian for dinner at Fireside Pies. It was fun catching up with them and the kids are going to be in Chelsea's wedding in July.

Tuesday morning, we all had dentist appointments and Tommy did a great job (last year - didn't go so well). He actually sat there and let the dentist do everything. Grace was another story, she was being a little jokester, until the dentist came - and then she cried and clamped her mouth shut. Oh well, there is always next year.

Tom also did a great job (being sick and all)

That evening, we went back out to the stadium to attend the Children's Christmas Party. Grace wasn't feeling that well, so she stayed with Tom, while I ran after Tommy.

We did manage to ride the train (twice) and both kids wanted balloon animals (a sword and sword belt for Tommy - a pink and purple candy cane for Grace). Tommy also made a Ginger bread house, jumped around in the bounce houses, practiced throwing/kicking a football & running around.

Alexander's Baptism (Texas - Part 2)

On Saturday, we celebrated the baptism of Alexander, Christina and Aaron's baby boy. Tom and I were honored to be the Godparents.

A Texas Christmas

We headed to TX late last week with a long list of things to do.

On Wednesday night, after settling in to our hotel in Plano, we met up with Chris and Chuck for dinner at Pluckers. It was Chuck's 40th birthday - so we were happy to celebrate with him. After dinner, we went back to their house to visit, play and have cake and ice cream.

The kids (especially Tommy) get so excited when we mention Charlie, so it was nice that they got to play together. We had a great time and ended up staying there until after 11:00 that night - yikes!

Thursday evening, after Tom finished with his client meetings, we all headed to my parents house in East Texas. We made it just in time for dinner.

Friday, we stayed around the house (since it was a rainy day) that morning, and then headed to Kimmie's house so the kids could play with Kylee.

Once Adam got home from work, we had our "Christmas dinner" and then opened presents. To say the kids were excited would be an understatement. Haha! Tommy and Grace (and Tom and I) LOVED everything we got.

Kimmie had her house decorated so nice

Viva Las Vegas

This past weekend, we met our friends, Byron and Michelle, in Vegas.

We got there Thursday afternoon, checked in to our rooms and then gambled for a while before heading to The Pub for dinner.

I look like a giant next to Michelle.

Friday morning, we met at Mon Ami (our favorite restaurant) and then took a cab downtown.

We stayed there for a few hours, but had to go back to our hotel early because the guys had a surprise for us. They rented a limo to take us down the strip, to the Vegas sign and downtown to watch the light show. It was really nice. We made it back to the hotel right in time for dinner.

Enjoying a little bubbly

It was a little chilly outside. Brr!

I swear this lobster was eyeing me up during dinner. Creepy!

Saturday, after breakfast we took the monorail and gambled the morning away. Of course, we made time to do jell-o shots before going over to Luxor for dinner.Fun times!

Yes please!

One last group shot.

We had a lot of fun hanging out with our friends and even though our trip was short, we packed a lot of things in.
