Ducky Tour

We decided to spend the morning/afternoon in Pittsburgh. I called the morning of May 2nd to reserve seats on one of the Just Ducky boats. We got there a little early and walked around Station Square.

Once we got on the boat, we snapped a few pictures before the tour started. I really enjoyed the tour and we all learned new things about the city. Grace was a little nervous about going into the water - I don't think she understood how a "car" could stay afloat.

After the tour, we had lunch along the water at Bar Louie, before riding the incline up the mountain to let the kids get ice cream.

After all that activity, both kids fell asleep on the way home.

What a fun day!

Black Tie Bingo

On Saturday, April 25th, we attended Black Tie Bingo held in Export, PA. Rennie & Associates bought a table for the event, so we had friends and clients sitting with us.

We really enjoyed the event. The food was very good and playing bingo is always fun!

Tom & I before dinner was served.

Only one person won at our table - but we had a blast dobbing :)

We had some fellow Texans at our table and Tom's best friend from college

Losing teeth

On April 14th, I had to take Tommy to the dentist to have his spacer put in, while there the dentist noticed how loose 2 of Tommy's bottom teeth were. He asked Tommy if he could pull them out, but Tommy was vehemently shaking his head no.

I overrode his decision and the dentist literally put his fingers in and gently pulled them out.

Look at my little snaggle-tooth. :)

Gwyneth's 3rd Birthday Party

On Saturday, April 11th, we took the kids to Gwyneth's birthday party in Pittsburgh.

Sharon had a few activities set up for the kids in the house, but the kids (especially Tommy) still spent a lot of time outside despite the chilly weather.

Grace making her "fairy" house. She worked on it for about 45 minutes.

Tommy the gnome.

Tommy pinned the wings on the fairy.

Present time

The cutie had fun running around outside.

Tommy wanted a turn with the wings (hope he doesn't get mad..haha)

The kids enjoyed going to the party and loved the party favors (the wings and the beard).

Easter Weekend

We had a fun, but busy, Easter Weekend.

The kids school was closed on Good Friday, so we stayed home most of the day. Once Tom got home from work, we colored eggs.

On Saturday, we met Christine, Eddie and the kids in Latrobe for an Easter Egg hunt. It was a little chilly that day, but the kids had a lot of fun.

I even bribed talked them into taking a photo with the Easter Bunny

We played at the park for a little while afterwards.

On Easter morning, the kids woke up to gifts from the Easter Bunny.

Grace loved her bubble machine, Play-doh eggs & Kit-Kats

Tommy loved his Lego sets.

After breakfast with Grammy and Pap-Pap, we went outside to hunt for eggs that the Easter Bunny left in the yard.

We had Easter Dinner at Grammy & Pap-Pap's house (where we had another egg hunt with Evelyn & James).
