Rennie & Associates Anniversary Party

On May 22, Rennie & Associates had an Anniversary celebration at the Ligonier Country Club. There were around 40 to 50 people that came out for the event.

Us :)

For the entertainment, Tom found a company that does casino games. They had craps, blackjack, roulette & some other numbers game.

I'm thinking that Tommy will love Vegas when he's older.

Grace too!

Tommy's Pre-K Graduation

On May 20th, my baby graduated from Pre-K. The ceremony was cute and didn't last terribly long.

They presented a candy bar award to every kid in the class. Tommy received the "Skor"  award for being the class athlete.

They also read a paper about what Tommy wanted to be when he grows up. Tommy had such an awesome story - and I'm so glad I was able to record the whole thing. I'm proud to have such an imaginative and thoughtful little boy!!

Grace was excited about taking a picture with her brother - ha!

After the ceremony, I gave him his graduation card (with a little bit of money) and I was surprised about how excited he got! He was showing the card off to all of us - and even keeps it displayed in his room. We took him out to dinner at Sunset Cafe to celebrate.

What a great night!!

Texas/Vegas Trip

The four of us flew into DFW airport on Thursday night (May 14th) and after getting our rental car, we headed to our hotel in Irving. My parents decided to stay at the same hotel that night and we ended up getting there about 5 minutes after them.

We stayed up visiting for a while and Grace ended up staying the night with them in there room. Tommy didn't want to leave us, so he shared the bed with me.

Tom had client meetings on Friday, so he was out the door around 7:30. Tommy and I were hungry and went down to have breakfast with my dad (Grace and my mom were still sleeping).

The 5 of us went to Grapevine Mills, since I had promised Tommy that we could go to LegoLand. I must say, it was pretty pricey and was just okay. Tommy had a lot of fun, but Grace didn't love it.

Waiting our turn to get in

We had to buy Tommy socks to run around in the activity center

He was embarrassed that I made him sit on the car to take a picture..

Grace didn't care

Tommy definitely isn't shy

After having lunch. we drove to Frisco to meet Tom and passed some time at Ikea.

Having fun in the "egg" chair

Tom and I left for Vegas on Friday night and my parents took the kids home with them. Tim & Diana arrived in Vegas on Saturday morning.

We pretty much did our typical stuff. We had brunch at Borders Saturday morning and breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi Sunday morning. The rest of the time we walked around and gambled.

There was one new thing we did this time. The four of us rode the gondola at the Venetian.  It was a nice day and the "guide" was very nice. (I didn't take many pictures the whole time we were there).

I flew out of Vegas around 6:45 Monday morning and landed in Dallas a little before lunch. My parents picked me up and we had Whataburger for lunch (yum) and then had to go back to the airport.

The kids and I arrived in Pittsburgh a little before 6:00. They were both great on the plane.

Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's Day weekend started off on Friday morning. The kids school had a Muffins with Mom set up outside.

Kendall wanted a picture with Grace

Saturday, we pretty much spent the day outside. The kids loved the warmer weather.

On Sunday, we went to the Pirates game with Tim, Diana, Christine, Eddie, Evelyn & James. We tailgated before (and after) the game. Tommy had fun playing baseball and Grace and Evelyn had fun playing hopscotch.

After the game, Tommy & I ran the bases (since it was Mother's Day). He thinks he beat me, but I'm not so sure! ;)

Tommy and Grace were so excited to give me my gifts (they were wrapped) and wouldn't even let me open them early!
