Christmas Family Photos

Last Sunday, we went in to take our Christmas photos.

After waiting an hour past our appointment time (ugh - annoying), we went into the room and the kids would hardly sit still. Little stinkers!

We did mange to get some great pictures though. :)

I love Tommy's face in this one.

My baby looks so grown up. :(

Thanksgiving in the 'Burgh

We had a very busy, but fun Thanksgiving day.

Around noon, we headed down to the Moose in Coraopolis for dinner with Diana's family. There was a ton of food and drinks. :)

Kids Playing Soccer

After dinner, you can buy raffle tickets for an auction to win a variety of things. Tom and I bought 7 tickets and I ended up winning a hat that Tommy wanted. Woo-hoo! The big winner of the day was Diana. She bought 7 tickets too - and she walked away with 3 prizes!! She actually won 4, but had them redraw the second one to give someone else a chance to win.

Once the auction was over, we moved on to Bingo. I LOVE bingo, so I couldn't wait for this portion. Tom, Diana(yes - lucky duck) and I each won a game.

We left around 6:00 and drove over to Pittsburgh to visit with Pap-Pap's family. Tommy and Grace had fun playing the musical instruments and we ended up leaving around 8:30 and got back to our house at 9:30.

The Incline & The "T"

Last weekend, we headed to Pittsburgh to meet up with Tom's best friend from college.

We stopped at their house for a little while, and then we all went to Station Square so the kids could ride (okay - me too) the incline for the first time. I was a little worried that Tommy would be scared, but he rode it like a pro. I think that fact that Little Anthony was hanging out and they were talking helped. :) Grace loved it too!

Dang that's high!

At the top, we walked around a little and stopped to get coffee and hot chocolate before heading back down.

Once we got back down, we rode the "T" to Market Square for Light Up Night. We caught a little of the parade, watched the people ice skating and had dinner at Las Velas (http://lasvelasmex.com/). It was fun, but a little busy with 4 kids.

After dinner, we rode the "T" back to Station Square to get our car and headed back to our casa since the kiddos were tired.

Grace's Thanksgiving Feast

A couple weeks ago, Tom and I went to Grace's daycare for their Thanksgiving Feast.

We got there and of course Grace is extra happy to see us for about a minute....and then the crying starts. Apparently our daughter doesn't like her schedule messed with. Her teachers told us that as soon as they change the kids diapers, they eat lunch - and when it didn't happen that day - she let us know about it - haha!

We managed to distract her with the coloring sheet on the table and after the little mini programs and prayer; it was time to eat.

It was nice spending some one-on-one time with her and she enjoyed having lunch with us.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Random picture - Grace LOVES to read Goodnight Moon and carries it around everyday. :)

Halloween in November

This marks the first year we didn't take the kids Trick-or-Treating in Texas. I guess it would have been hard since we officially moved to Pennsylvania.

We actually got to PA on Monday night - October 29th - right in the middle of Hurricane Sandy. It rained and snowed most of the week and because of this Trick-or-Treating was moved to Saturday night (November 3rd).

After spending most of the day unpacking (me) and painting (Tom and his dad), Tom and I took a break that evening to take Tommy out. We decided to leave Grace at home since it was still pretty cold outside. It worked out though - Grace helped Grammy hand out candy.

Tommy had a lot of fun and was more interested in it this year. He was still reluctant to go actually ring the doorbells and made Tom or me do it.

To infinity and beyond!

Silly Buzz!

Our neighborhood is on a hill, so we definitely got our exercise walking up and down the long driveways. Tommy thought it was a game and wanted me to run up the driveways with him to exercise - haha! We were out and about for a little over an hour and Tommy got a lot of loot. Of course, we helped him eat the chocolate (he still doesn't like it) and Grace helped him with the rest.

Leaving TX and Evelyn's Baptism

The weekend before Halloween, we stopped in Nashville for the weekend for Evelyn's Baptism. It was also nice, because it is also the halfway point between Texas and Pennsylvania.

After the movers left and we finished cleaning the apartment, Tom, Pap-Pap and I went to pick the kids up from their last day at Primrose. Our kids have gone there since they were born and it was so sad for all of us. All the teachers came out to say bye to Tommy and Grace and each of their classes made them going away gifts.

We got on the road a little after noon and only had to make a couple of stops (for gas and eating). The kids did a great job traveling and the only time Grace cried was when we were about 10 minutes from Christine and Eddie's house.

Anyway, Saturday we all hung out, did a little shopping and then went out to dinner at Big River in downtown Nashville.
Tommy had to pose by the big guitar

Grace loves playing with my phone.

Sunday, we all went to mass and then right after the baptism of Baby Evelyn took place. Tom and I were excited to be the godparents and other than our kids running around acting like heathens, the baptism went well. Evelyn didn't make a peep the entire time. :)
Grace liked the statues

Sunday night, we got the kids all dressed up and went to a Trunk-or-Treat at this church right down the road from Christine and Eddie's house. The kids had a lot of fun, but we didn't stay too long since it was so cold!
