Trip to Utah

Friday morning, my mom and I flew into Salt Lake City for my cousin Jessica's wedding.

We got in to Salt Lake around 11:45, picked up our rental car and drove up to Layton, UT to check in to our hotel. We did have time to drive to my Uncle Randy's house to visit with them for a little while before getting ready for the wedding.

The wedding was at 4:00 at this cute little venue called The Castle. It was a very nice wedding and the reception was held right after. Christina (my cousin) and I utilized the photo booth multiple times and chatted most of the night.

Saturday, my mom and I got up bright and early, had a quick breakfast at the hotel and headed to Salt Lake City to look at their downtown.

We didn't see anything we wanted to do - so we decided to check out Park City for a little while. It was about 30 minutes away through the mountains - so beautiful.

The first thing we did was go to Olympic Park. We bought tickets to ride the ski lift to the top (and man was it high) and I talked my mom into riding the Alpine Slide down. FUN!! After all that, we had to refuel at Red Rock Junction before hitting up the outlet mall.

We went to Uncle Randy's house for dinner, visited with everyone for a couple hours and got back to the hotel around 8:30 and went to bed by 10:00 since we had to be at the airport bright and early for our 6:00 flight. Yikes!

It was a fun girls trip - thanks to Tom (and my dad) for watching the kiddos for me.
