Grapefest 2012

A couple of weekends ago, our friends Byron and Michelle (and their 2 girls) came for a visit and to keep up our tradition of going to Grapefest.

We decided to split up the wine tastings again, with Michelle and I taking the first session and the guys taking the last. We do it that way, because the guys are able to get in a lot more drinking than us - not really sure how that works.

Tom and Byron kept the kids entertained watching live bands during their shift. The kids loved listening and dancing to the music.

During our shift, we fed the kids and took them to ride a few rides. Tommy and Madison had a blast riding rides and chasing after each other.

Busy, Busy, Busy

The last couple of weekends have been busy and I haven't had a chance to blog about them - so I'm combining a couple of things in this post.

The Sunday after Kylee's birthday party, we were invited to a suite at the Frisco RoughRiders game. It was still pretty hot outside, so it was nice to be able to go inside whenever we got too hot. Tommy and Grace also enjoyed running in and out the door and playing with the other kids.

Last Saturday, Chris and Chuck invited us over to their house for grilled "Make Your Own" pizza. Tommy and Charlie had a grand time and Grace loved playing with all of Charlie's toys (and boy does he have a lot).

Kylee's 2nd Birthday

Last Saturday, we headed to my hometown for my nieces birthday party.

My sister went with an Elmo theme for the party. The Elmo cake was HUGE and the baker did a great job.
