We split the drive on the way down, stopping in Covington, LA on Friday night. Friday also happened to be Tommy's 3rd birthday.
Thank goodness for the entertainment system in the car.

He also got to pick where we ate lunch - of course he wanted chicken nuggets

Of course, the first day we get there Tropical Storm Debby decides she wants to visit too. She hangs out with us the first couple of days. Thank goodness she cut her trip short and left us on Monday afternoon.

The rest of the week, we lounged around at the beach (the kids didn't move from their beach towels), ate and watched Despicable Me over and over - per Tommy's request.

I'm so glad y'all had fun at the beach. And I MISS YOU!!!! When was the last time we did a weekly update?! Things have been SO very crazy around here, I feel like I need to do a three-week update tomorrow.
