Trip to Nashville

This past weekend, we took a road trip to Nashville to meet baby Evelyn.

We stayed with my parents Friday night and got on the road early Saturday morning. We arrived in Nashville around 4:00 (with only one stop for lunch and gas). The kids did a great job. I guess getting a car with an entertainment system was the right move!

We stayed at the house that evening hanging out with everyone and cute little Evelyn. Tommy even slept in a big boy bed for the first time by himself. :)

Sunday, the girls (minus Grace) went to watch Eddie's final performance with the ballet. Afterwards, we met up with the guys and Grace and got to go backstage. Afterwards, we all went out to eat at Blackstone with Christopher and Brian (some of their friends) and Eddie's mom. We all went to bed a little early that night.

On Monday, we took a few family photos and got on the road around 9:00. We had to make 3 stops on our way home. Once for gas, once for lunch and then our last stop at my parents house for dinner and baths.

Overall, it was a fun trip - just very short. We loved meeting Evelyn (Eddie's mini-me)!

  1. I forgot to ask, but when you say Eddie's final performance, do you mean for this particular ballet... or is he quitting/retiring?
