The four of us left Friday morning around 7:30 and drove on the toll road a majority of the way there. Other than a stop for lunch and gas, the trip up was pretty uneventful. We did make time to drive through Notre Dame's Campus. It was very pretty and Tommy said he wants to go there when he is bigger (maybe we need to put a little more in their college funds).
"Touchdown" Jesus
We got to the rental house around 4:30 and the Pikes got there around 5:30. Tom & I made dinner that night (tacos) and then just stayed up talking for a few hours.

Saturday, Tom & I made breakfast burritos (we all miss Whataburger) for breakfast. The rest of the morning was spent playing with kids and talking. Tom & Byron grilled hot dogs for lunch and we spent the afternoon watching football. Around 4:00 or so, we walked down to the beach in the freezing cold. The kids liked it. They all wrote their names in the sand and collected sea shells.

We were up and ready to go by 8:30 on Sunday morning (the Pikes were staying an extra day). Madison and Grace were both sad that we were leaving.
